We are eager to promote new feminist work on women's needs, life-wisdom, ideas, culture, soulcraft, politics, art, economy, ecological work, and social movement. Patriarchy is the interlocking legal, economic, cultural, and religious systems and traditions that support male supremacy. It was born in the commodification, rape, and murder of women. It has existed in remarkably consistent forms for five thousand years. Medusa Rising means for this millennium to be its last. The Gorgons are a small, international team of women committed to the RadMatFem framework. While we base our feminism in different threads of the tradition, we see combinations of authoritarianism and woman-hating on the increase in conservative and progressive movements around the world. We create and support international and intergenerational feminist work responding to these developing threats in radical materialist feminist tradition (#radmatfem) developed by THE RADICAL NOTION Collective.
